We focus on providing you with Local food at everyday prices, helping you reduce your food miles as well as your petrol bill !

We source some of the tastiest food & drinks from our own Apley Estate, Shropshire’s farmers &  food suppliers &  neighbouring counties. We aim to stock something different, not easily found elsewhere. Our local Butcher sells meat from our local farmers. The Delicatessen is stocked with cheeses & freshly prepared pies & delicacies. Apley Farm Shop wins major national award

Apley Farm Shop has been recognised with major awards from the National Farmers’ Retail and Markets Association.

FARMA is a co-operative of farmers, producers selling on a local scale, and farmers’ markets organisers. FARMA works throughout the UK and is the largest organisation of its type in the world, representing direct sales to customers through farm shops, Pick-Your-Own, farmers’ markets, home delivery, on-farm catering, and farm entertainment.

FARMA awarded Apley Farm Shop its Rising Star award & Ludlow Food Centre its UK Farm Retailer of the Year award during a presentation ceremony with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall held in Harrogate.

“This is a remarkable achievement and we are absolutely delighted,” said Apley Farm Shop owner Lord Gavin Hamilton, who founded Apley Farm Shop almost two years ago. “The day-to-day running of the shop is very much a team effort and I congratulate our staff for their hard work and dedication to the business and their constant attention to detail.”
